Abstract
Background: Intelligence is one of the most important individual differences among members of the community. Spiritual intelligence is performance with insight warmth and compassion with the outer and inner calm. Purpose of this study was to assess the relationship between spiritual intelligence, self-control, and defense mechanisms in the third grade high school girls in the city of Mehran. Materials and methods: This descriptive and correlational study was performed on all girl students in the third grade high school girls in Mehran city (n=a08). Spiritual intelligence questionnaire of Abdullahzadeh, defense mechanisms questionnaire of Hosseini and Tanjy self-control questionnaire were used. Data were analyzed with statistical software SPSS 19.
Results: A significant positive correlation was observed between spiritual intelligence and self-control level (p<0.01). There were positive correlation between spiritual intelligence and breaking mechanism and also rationalization (p<0.01), but there were no significant correlation between the spiritual intelligence and return mechanism, displacement, denial, fantasies, sublimated, and transformation.
Conclusion: This study showed that spiritual intelligence strengthens mature defense mechanisms, and people can deal with stressors in a right way.

Abstract
Background: Spiritual intelligence represents a set of capabilities and capacities and spiritual resources. Tendency to perfectionism and perfectionism bodies of people and coping strategies are conscious practices and reasonable compromise with the stresses of life. The aim of present study was to investigate the relationship between spiritual intelligence and perfectionism, coping strategies among students of Payam Noor University of Susa city.
Materials and methods: In this descriptive, correlation type, study, of all Payam Noor University students in Susa city, 280 students were studied. Questionnaires of Hoet and Felt Perfectionism Scale (1991), King Spiritual Intelligence (2008) and the coping strategies were used. Data analysis was done by SPSS. ver21 using Pearson's correlation coefficient.
Results: There was a significant relationship between spiritual intelligence and coping strategies, and between perfectionism and coping strategies; so that with increasing spiritual intelligence and perfectionism, using coping strategies increased. Also there was a significant and positive relationship between perfectionism and spiritual intelligence.
Conclusion: Due to the influence of spiritual intelligence and perfectionism on mental health, especially using coping strategies, it is better to increase these two components in different ways, to make a decision in their life be easier.

Abstract
Background: Today, quality of life is one of the most important issues in health care. Religious beliefs, in special meaning, are shared beliefs of a particular congregation that are eager to adhere to those beliefs and follow their practice; and self-efficacy means person's ability to deal with certain situations.
Materials and methods: This study was a descriptive- correlation type research. Tools used in this study were quality of life, Baraheni religious beliefs and self-efficacy Scherer questionnaires. Data analyses by software SPSS 21 using Spearman's correlation coefficient test.
Results: The results showed a significant relationship between quality of life and religious beliefs and self-efficacy, so that increasing religious beliefs was associated with higher self-efficacy.
Conclusion: The present study showed that there were significant direct relationship between self-efficacy and quality of life, and also religious beliefs, in all academic disciplines; therefore detecting and applying the appropriate methods in increasing the self- efficacy may enhance the quality of life of the students.
