fa بررسی اثر آنتی‌باکتریال عصاره گیاه الوریادکومبنز بر باکتری‌های استرپتوکوکوس موتانس و لاکتوباسیلوس اسیدوفیلوس Antibacterial activity of Oliveria decumbens extract on Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus acidophylus داروسازي Pharmacology نيمه آزمايشي Semi-pilot سابقه و هدف: این پژوهش به بررسی اثرات ضدمیکروبی عصاره‌های آبی و الکلی گیاه الیوریادکومبنز بر روی باکتری‌های استرپتوکوکوس موتانس و لاکتوباسیلوس اسیدوفیلوس، که از عوامل اصلی پوسیدگی دندان هستند، پرداخت. با توجه به مقاومت نسبی این باکتری‌ها به آنتی‌بیوتیک‌ها و استفاده‌های سنتی از گیاهان دارویی، این مطالعه برای بررسی این اثرات انجام شد. روش بررسی: ابتدا عصاره‌های گیاه به روش خیساندن و در رقت‌های سریالی مختلف تهیه شدند. سپس باکتری‌های استاندارد از منابع معتبر تهیه و در محیط‌های مناسب کشت داده شدند. عصاره‌های آبی و الکلی در چاهک‌های میکروپلیت به سوسپانسیون باکتری‌ها اضافه شده و نمونه‌ها به مدت 48 ساعت در دمای 37 درجه سانتی‌گراد در شرایط بی‌هوازی نگهداری شدند. میزان حداقل غلظت مهارکنندگی (MIC) و حداقل غلظت باکتری‌کشی (MBC) از طریق مشاهده چشمی تعیین شد.  یافتهها: عصاره آبی در غلظت‌های 2048، 1024 و 512 میکروگرم بر میلی‌لیتر رشد هر دو گونه باکتری را مهار کرده و MIC  آن 512 میکروگرم بر میلی‌لیتر بود. همچنین، عصاره آبی خاصیت باکتری‌کشی در غلظت‌های 2048 و 1024  میکروگرم بر میلی‌لیتر داشت و MBC آن 1024 میکروگرم بر میلی‌لیتر بود. از سوی دیگر، عصاره الکلی در هیچ‌یک از غلظت‌ها اثر ضدمیکروبی نداشت. نتیجهگیری: این مطالعه نشان می‌دهد که عصاره آبی گیاه اثر ضدمیکروبی متوسطی دارد، در حالی که عصاره الکلی هیچ تأثیری ندارد.   Background: This study investigated the antimicrobial effects of aqueous and ethanolic extracts of Oliveria decumbens on Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus acidophilus, which are key contributors to dental caries. Considering the relative resistance of these bacteria to antibiotics and the traditional use of medicinal plants, this study was conducted to evaluate these effects. Materials and methods: The plant extracts were prepared using the maceration method and serial dilutions. Standard bacterial strains were obtained from reliable sources and cultured in appropriate media. Aqueous and ethanolic extracts were added to bacterial suspensions in microplate wells and incubated anaerobically at 37°C for 48 hours. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) were determined through visual observation. Results: The aqueous extract inhibited the growth of both bacterial species at concentrations of 2048, 1024, and 512 µg/ml, with an MIC of 512 µg/ml. Additionally, the aqueous extract exhibited bactericidal activity at concentrations of 2048 and 1024 µg/ml, with an MBC of 1024 µg/ml. On the other hand, the ethanolic extract showed no antimicrobial activity at any concentration.
